Spanish lessons in Tallahassee

June 11, 2009

I can take the fear out of learning Spanish. You can internalize so much Spanish in a short period of time and will be able to show off to your Spanish-speaking friends. You will not need any books since the lessons are based on how we learned our own language as children: First, we listen; Second, we respond to commands and phrases with our body; Third, we start to speak language, and can give others’ commands, and comments, and ask questions. During all of this, internalization is going on. This is what is going on during my Spanish lessons. You are not memorizing Spanish, but instead adopting it, internalizing it, making it your own.

Background:
B.A. in Spanish from the University of West Florida.
M.A. in Spanish Language and Linguistics from Florida State University.
Lived in and visited Spanish speaking countries.
Taught Spanish for over seven years, and have been tutoring Spanish since 1994.

My fees: $20 hour one on one, or $15 for two or more individuals.
